The club was reformed in the fall of 2023 by local residents Stan Switlik and Peter Wright.

The stated purpose of the club is to promote participation in model sailboats and model sailboat racing on the Jersey Shore.

The club hosted its first regatta in July 2024 with the three day Tri-Sail Regatta with CR914’s, Star 45’s and EC12’s sailed. The club has since hosted a 2nd Tri-Sail regatta in 2025 with IOMs, Star 45’s and EC12’s sailed.

The club also hosted the Region 2 DF95 Championship in 2025 at Shore Acres YC.
